Getting the best out of running with your dog

Dogs and humans deal with heat very differently. The coat of fur around your pet isn't ideal for running in hotter temperatures. So ideally, you want to be running when it's cooler outside; such as in the early mornings or cooler evenings.

Also, while humans know to independently slow down or find some shade, a dog's basic instinct is to do as its pack leader tells it to do. The most loyal dogs will often ignore its own well-being to obey its masters, so it's up to you to take care of it.
