Just because you're reaching, or have reached your 40s is no excuse for not running. Scientist and most professional runners believe that it is very much possible to run your best in your 40s.

And while some dig deep into their pockets for a new 911 Turbo or a cute mistress on the side, it's equally often that the midlife crisis has you reaching for your running shoes.

Regardless of your motivations, be it to be the newest 'yummy mummy' around town, or the cutest baby daddy on the PIBG (Parent-teacher association), running is still one of the best forms of exercise you can get in your 40s. Here are the hows and whys of it all.
