On too many occasions do we count the merits of a player's accomplishments for good and his achievements for the better, but what about the other guy? The warrior of the team that takes no nonsense anyone and has to constantly stand up for the rest of those trophy-winning-pansies around him, where's his acknowledgment?

More recently in the news the San Francisco Giants of the MLB have slapped pitcher Guillermo Mota with a mega 100-game ban after testing positive for drug abuse.

So this time around MSN Sports Malaysia puts together a list of players that on more than a couple of occasions, leave the field with not only a medal or two for their troubles, but with it a couple of missing teeth, or war-wounds to boast at the local pubs.
