The English FA have officially approached Roy Hodgson for the job of becoming England manager. But would it be the right choice?
With Malaysia having nothing much to set the international football stage alight, you've got to admit that with the amount of BPL football we watch every week, the majority of us have developed a soft spot for the English national squad.
With that in mind, what do you make of the potential in Roy Hodgson becoming the next England manager? The English FA has already made an official approach for the West Brom boss, and we now wait on both parties to further discuss terms.
With a long list of managers that haven't flopped completely with a big team (Hodgson-Liverpool), why have the English FA stopped at Roy?
Guardiola's just left Barcelona, Jose Mourinho's obviously looking to make his way back to England. Then you've also got the long list that starts at Rafa Benitez and ends somewhere with Martin O'Neill even.
As a Liverpool fan, you've got to admit to being a slightly worried about Hodgson taking control of England's international fate.
Do you agree with the English FA? Or would you rather see someone else lead England?
