Defending World Cup champions Spain, the team everyone wanted to avoid, has been put in a tough group but shouldn't have problems going through. Italy is also looking to make its mark, and Ireland makes its return to the tournament for the first time in 24 years. The last two teams to do so, France (1984) and Greece (2004), ended up winning the tournament.
