A product of Barcelona's famous 'La Masia', midfielder Cesc Fabregas went to Arsenal at the age of 16 after seeing few opportunities to break into the first team.
He stayed with Arsenal until 2011, eventually becoming captain of the squad. The lack of silverware eventually got to him though, and he began to yearn for a return to his boyhood club. He completed a move back to Barcelona for around 29 million pounds (plus incentives), and won the Spanish Supercup two days later. He won three other cups, and appeared in the Champions League semi-final, losing out to Chelsea. Barcelona also lost their hold on the La Liga title in his first season.
