Longest ever Premier League suspensions
List of some of the longest suspensions handed out after QPR's volatile captain Joey Barton was suspended for 12 matches by the Football Association on Wednesday.

Following Joey Barton's recent 12-game suspension and £75,000 fine for his violent conduct against Manchester City players on the final of the Barclays Premier League, much hype about the length of his suspension has been raised.
