Highly rated and under-appreciated, AVB's spell at Chelsea was as brief as his climb to success with Porto. Suffering the quick axe of Roman Abramovich, AVB will definitely want a second go in England to disprove the local critics.
We know he's got the talent and quality needed - winning the Primeira Liga, Portuguese Supercup, Championship of Portugal and the Europa League in his first year of Euro competition, but what AVB might not be able to deliver on is FSG's demand for quick results. Also, it's been reported that Liverpool were looking at AVB themselves before Chelsea got to him, and before Kenny was signed.
