Place of birth: Georgetown
Event: Badminton
Previous Olympics: 2

Lee is one of the biggest stars around in the sport of badminton, but he has admitted that he is desperate not to end his career without winning a major title.
Since losing to big rival Lin Dan in the final of the 2008 Olympics, Lee has been ranked as the number one player in the world but further defeats to China's Lin in the final of the 2010 Asian Games and the 2011 World Championships provided extra motivation for London 2012.
His four gold medals from the 2006 and 2010 Commonwealth Games remain Lee's only honours on the very biggest stage prior to the London Olympics, although he has won over 30 career titles, including two at the prestigious the All-England Championships.
He made his Olympic debut as a 21-year-old at Athens 2004 when he won his opening match before being knocked out in the second round.
