In Pressure Situations - Repeat your swing

Maintain your game consistency despite the often encountered pressures of golf with these tops tips from the pros.

In Pressure Situations - Repeat your swing

Normally when we play golf there is always a point, or more, when we will be under pressure. This applies to when we are in a tournament or just playing a round with friends at the local club. In this instructional piece, we will touch on how to repeat your golf swing when playing under pressure.

#1 Keep the club head out and away

My swing is more vertical or, up and down. This shape helps me hit the ball on line because the club head stays on the target line longer - a fairly straight path and circular swing that wraps up round the body through impact.

With an upright swing, you have to make sure you don't just lift the club with your arms, making the swing arc narrow. I remind myself to keep the club as far away from my body as possible. I try to feel as if I swing wide back and wide through.
