A Great Place to Start - Royal Palm Springs
A huge and imposing arch greets the visitor to the Royal Palm Springs Golf Club in Port Dickson. Past that flashy façade though lies a tract that will best serve beginners and less-competitive players.
The 18-hole par-72 buggy golf course is not demanding at a competitive level as it only has one hole playing more than 500 metres but it does have a fair share of bunkers, either greenside or on the fairways, drains, ponds and out-of-bounds to put the average player on the alert.
Measuring 6,174 metres from the black tees the usual round is probably played off the shorter but more accommodating blue tees at 5,835 metres. For those who want to have less to worry about with shorter carries the white tees will be a good choice at 5,581 metres.
